Itinerary 2009

This is the go-to spot for your parents to find the itinerary. You'll be able to call/email home until June 7th and also after the 23rd for sure. You might be able to get an email out while at Cocha Cashu too, but don't count on it.

Meeting Monday January 26th 2009 6pm in Winston 125

This year two courses will be offered concurrently in Peru--in addition to the Tropical Biodiversity, Emily Wakild will be teaching The History of Nature Conservation in Latin America, an upper division 3 credit history course. Both course count for the LAS minor or the Environmental Studies minor.

Some of the overlapping issues we'll consider in these courses include:

--how human society modifies the environment and the environment modifies human societies
--ways human civilizations are bounded by natural and social limitations
--social decisions have environmental consequences

And much more...
